Registration for the currentÌýschool year is ongoing and can be done by completing an online registration form.

Students who will be in Grades 1-12 for the 2025/26 school year may begin registering for the СÖíÊÓƵ using the online registration form on January 1, 2025. Please note that only parent(s)/legal guardian(s) who are currently living in СÖíÊÓƵ, BC are able to register for the 2025/26 school year.

Current СÖíÊÓƵ students, including Grade 7 students transitioning to secondary school in 2025/26, do not need to do a new registration for the following school year unless you have movedÌýyour residence to a new school catchment area and would like to register for your new catchment school. In that circumstance, please use the online registration form to register for your new catchment school for 2025/26.

Complete theÌý, which includes uploading required documents. Once the form and documents are submitted, a Central Registration staff member will contact you to discuss next steps.

A student will normally attend the school located in the catchment area in which their parents or legal guardians reside unless there is no physical, resource or program space available. You can find your catchment school by using theÌý.

Registration for the 2024/25 school year is ongoing. Grade 1-12 registration for the 2025/26 school year will begin on January 1, 2025.Ìý

Applications received during this period will receive a placement decision by February 7, 2025. Applications received during this period will receive a placement decision by May 16, 2025. Applications received during this period will receive a placement decision by September 5, 2025.

All registrations are submitted using theÌý. Central Registration staff will then contact parents by phone or email to complete the registration.

Letters of Acceptance are needed by parents/legal guardians who:

  1. Have refugee status.
  2. Have a valid work permit and proof of employment. Work permits must be valid for minimum one year.
  3. Have a valid study permit and have been accepted into a qualifying degree or diploma program. Study permits must be valid for minimum one year.
  4. Are on an international government sponsored contract.
  5. Have a child who is in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

As per district policy, a student will normally attend the school located in their catchment area in which their parents or legal guardians reside unless there is no physical, resource or program space available. New registration applications will be processed in the following order:

  1. Students with a catchment sibling who will attend the school and program in 2025/26
  2. Students with a non-catchment sibling who will attend the school and program in 2025/26Ìý
  3. Catchment students
  4. Students with a non-СÖíÊÓƵ resident sibling who will attend the school and program in 2025/26Ìý

Students who cannot be placed at their catchment school will be placed at a nearby school by the District Administrator for Central Registration.Ìý
